As the heat of summer fades into the memory we can look ahead to the changing of the seasons, and as the leaves change colour along comes a range of exciting events.
We are fortunate in Arundel to have some of the counties most renowned events on our doorstep and if you’re looking to explore these events this autumn, we would be delighted to host you at Comfort Inn Arundel.

Slindon Pumpkins
Now a popular fixture, the Slindon Pumpkin display has become a must-see Halloween attraction. Famous for its artistry from Pumpkins, the Slidon display is open from the beginning of October through to November weather permitting and entry is free. Alongside the display you are also able to purchase pumpkins so you can go home and make your own creations! The perfect way to get in the spooky Halloween spirit.
Worthing Guy Fawkes Celebrations
Guy Fawkes night just wouldn’t be the same without fireworks and over in Worthing, the Worthing Lions Club will be putting on a major display on Worthing seafront. With the pier as it’s backdrop, the display is a highlight for the town and thrills the crowds year after year. Taking place at 7:30 pm on Tuesday the 5th of November, the display is not to be missed.
Worthing Oktoberfest
New for 2019 is Worthing’s Oktober fest. Set to be held in Worthing’s Steyne Gardens under a huge marquee, the event aims to capture the atmosphere of Oktoberfest. With a 20-metre longbar serving classic draught German beer alongside and an Oompah band, it looks set to be an event that is not to be missed. Taking place over the weekend of the 4th to the 6th of October tickets look set to sell out soon.
