The Prime Minister made it very clear in his announcement (12 July 2021) that the pandemic is still with us. Whilst most legal restrictions will be removed, he also emphasized that the responsibility sits with all of us to do our best to keep everyone as safe as possible.
With cases of COVID-19 increasing at this time throughout the country we are making some tough decisions that we feel are right for our guests, our colleagues and our business. This means that we are stepping away from restrictions cautiously. We feel this is the responsible approach and reflects government advice
Nothing is more important than the health and safety of our team and customers. In light of the recent developments surrounding COVID-19, we feel it’s important to provide information and update you on measures we are implementing.
Face masks will no longer be required from 19th July 2021.
Our Breakfast area is now open to hotel guests that have breakfast included in their reservation.

Steps we are taking
We are ensuring good hygiene procedures and particularly, regular and thorough hand cleaning is adopted by the whole team. we are also regularly cleaning surfaces & handles with disinfectant.
We wanted to update you on the steps we are taking to help minimize the spread of COVID-19.
Like all businesses, we are continuing to follow and monitor official guidance from the UK Government and Public Health England carefully. It Is of vital importance for us to be in a position to ensure that any and all procedures are in place to support the health and well-being of our guests and staff alike.
To help combat the spread of COVID-19, we have put even more precautionary and safety measures in place. We are following Choice Hotels International 'Commitment to Clean Program' as well as electing a 'Commitment to Clean Captain'. All our team members have been trained in line with Choice Hotels and government guidelines to effectively deal with these unusual times. All our risk assessments are under constant review to enable us to implement the best possible practices for the safety of all our guests and team members.

- Emphasizing even more frequent and proper handwashing
- Regularly cleaning all areas with appropriate cleaning chemicals.
- Providing hand sanitiser in and around the hotel public areas and encouraging all staff and guests to use.
- If you require a VAT receipt for your stay, please provide reception with your correct email address for us to send electronically, to limit contact.
