Arundel - The Comfort Inn is situated close to Arundel on the banks of the River Arun and dominated by the castle built in 1066.The well maintained Castle and grounds are open to the public and well worth a visit together with an abundance of quaint antique shops and wine bars and village pubs the village is an entertaining place to visit.
Arundel Castle – Set on the top of the town magnificent views can be seen both inside and outside the castle. Open 6 days a week (Closed Mondays) from 31st March to 28 October 2007.
Arundel Lido – Open 7 days a week from May 26th to September 16th 2007 25 metre pool and children’s paddling pool with heated water with picnic and sunbathing areas.
Arundel Wetland Centre – Enjoy the birds, ducks, creepy crawlies and the water meadows in this well kept conservation site.
Bignor Roman Villa – beautiful picnic site on a museum that tells the history of the villa and lots of beautiful mosaics and artifacts to view open from 1st march to 31st October 2007.
Amberley Working Museum – Steam train, engines and buses which keep the kids and the young at heart amused all day long open from 14th March to 31st October 2007.
Fontwell Park Racecourse – holds concerts and special race days with beautifully landscaped gardens only 15 minutes away from the hotel.
Goodwood – Race course, golf and spectacular house to view as well as home to the popular Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival.
Littlehampton – pebble beach, an old fashioned promenade and lots of little seaside shops await you in this town with fish & chip cruises from Littlehampton a well as daily cruises to Arundel.
Bognor Regis – Another seaside town with Butlins who offer day passes to keep the kids occupied, miniature golf.
Chichester – Historic cathedral to visit, cinema, theatre, bowling, night clubs and a bustling shopping precinct await you in this town.
